Yes, the Photoshop manipulation bug has bitten deeper than I imagined. There are some other works  I can’t share with you just yet but as we are in the throes of Halloween season then this one can finally be posting.

Hopefully you’ll recognise the main figures as the classic Universal monsters – Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, The Wolf Man, The Mummy, and the Gillman (Creature From The Black Lagoon) The setting being a spooky forest was a natural one

It took a while to get the right images for this as I had another concept in mind but it didn’t work out but once I got the forest idea, it all came together. The mist is nice and eerie but also a necessity – the only shot I could get off the Mummy, his feet were not shown so I had to find a way to disguise this, and inspiration came from the Wolf Man pic.

As ever I am indebted to Google search and Pixbay for the following stock images used:

And after lots of fiddling with the shading and highlights and what have you, here is the finished article:

I’m quite happy with this one though I wish I had better quality images to work with like the Gillman but there you go.

If things go well I may have another Halloween pic to share before the season ends so watch this space…

As always you can see my artwork on my new Instagram account! If you are on there, please do give me a follow! 🙂

Thanks for reading!
